Yes that's all you need to do and just check it has a 3 amp fuse also

Yes you can do what you said but funnily enough I saw some cables yesterday in the 99p store........for 99p!

just check my plug it got a power adpter the it got to a uk plug so it ok is it ?

power adapter may mean box is running on 12 volts rather than 240v,adapter should say.

It's not the adapter othat's the problem it's the figure of 8 lead that plugs into it. Remove the fuse from the plug and if the Zgemma still switches on then you need a new lead otherwise it's ok
