it is possible but from what I've read on here you dont want to do that (storage size limited, read/write speeds, sd lifespan are all factors), USB hard drive or pen drive are the norm

I recommend keeping an eye on Hot UK Deals for external HDDs. They pop up often at good prices with big capacities. ;)

The micro SD card is great for the EPG, Picons ad a swap file though but you will still need some for of USB device to record and rewind etc.

Later on, if I get chance, I will try everything on micro SD and see what sort of results I get just out of interest, but as Beaky said,
