V8s vs zgemma

Folks i have a mate thats got hd sports on his v8s box but i have been told i wont get any hd sports or movies on zgemma?

Any advice?

bt sport and espn will be hd. Any sly channels will not. Only way to get hd is through virgin. But you will need a virgin media broadband line

The channels can be in HD But must be on the cable side not on sat

Also the combo is a clone it's not listed on the skybox website site xmltv firmware update might not work. You'll be better off with zgemma h1.

Firmware For these can be found here Downloads Who also do Skybox / openbox firmware that works with no problem

hi I have a openbox v8 in bedroom they are ok but very basic . I did have a zgemma which is a better box then decided to go down the cable route movies sports all in hd im realy impressed with my new gigablue hd quad plus works great glad I spent a bit more money and went for a decent cable box also got sky to as twin tuners

The Gigablue quad plus is very nice indeed. That's on my upgrade path. Zgemma will do fine for now.

BT sport is not owned by sky so will always be in HD
