Will i lose my cline

Hi thinking of putting new firmware out 5/10/11 on bm 7000,with usb stick,Will i lose my cline Pls????

I believe you may lose your cline like this but I could be wrong.

Its always good practise to have your cline information written down in a safe place somewhere..

If u update with UNOFFICIAL firmware, then you will NOT lose your c/lines, as I've updated my firmware many times and my 2 c/lines have always been there.

but, like "dan-ger-ous" says above its always a good idea to backup your connection details incase.

U can back it up from the 9991 menu with a USB stick.

Look out for csinfo save.

Then you can open the saved file in notepad to see the details.

Just try it and see if it saves all the info before upgrading. I mean is check the saved file has all the details.

Your cline is separate to the firmware, it remains on the box regardless of firmware, it just won't show with the official firmware as the 9991 option doesn't work.

So you can change the F/W on the box as stated above with no problem.

no its locked to protect the suppliers cline.thats the problem with all in packages.better to buy blade/cline seperate and usually works out cheaper anyway if you hunt in the right places.
