in providers I can only see virgin uk area I have lost sky uk any idea how I can get back

That would be down to the sat tuner not being switched on. head over to tuner configuration service searching and find the sat tuner configure it then sly uk should appear back in the providers :)

done a scan comes up error could it be the dish as I has been up for years

are you using Autobouquetsmaker to scan?

when was the last time you used the dish ?
also are you screwing the sat coax cable into the right tuner port?

yes using auto bougets maker to scan in providers I cannot see sky uk.dish has been up for years first time I have used it

comes up 19.2e astra then jumps to 28,2 astra

go to sat finder and see what signal your pulling

worth getting up the ladders then get a sat finder device to make it easier to get signal with your sat :)

Could be an lnb problem easy fix, take a look at it see if it's damaged.

Get a sat finder device to help ypu determine whether the lnb is broken or if the sat needs realigning
