for zgemma most people recommend a drive with its own PSU,
it could be the hdd wanting more power than the zgemma can deliver, or the zgemma's psu on its way out,
hard to know without being there.
is this a new set-up, or has it worked in the past.?
The early zgemmas had a power brick which was either 2.5 or 3.0a.
The newer ones are a plug type and are a lower power output. I don't think they are big enough to power a hard drive as well as the box.
I take it the box boots fine without the hdd connected?
