I have a box that currently has black hole installed. Does anyone know if its possible to run a similar image to what I have on my zgemma (ipab) but I also want kodi and iptv installed too?

where do I get such an image and is it possible?
 
Just bought what was advertised as a new VU+ solo se (cable). Tried 3 different images on 3 different USBs but the box is not having any of it. The procedure is ok... USB inserted with the box off and then powered up. But no change to the light on the front of the panel and no new image. Anyone with any fault finding ideas?

Any stickers on it pointing you to websites? Just wondering if it's a clone. Maybe post some screenshots of existing image? Particularly from the information, about section.

PP Each attempt has been formatted to FAT32 and whether I use Vix or VU+ images they are all similar files sitting in the folder vusolose which is a sub-folder of vuplus

SS Cheers, I've been on there and no good. I thought the software update might be worth a try but the link doesn't work and everything seems a couple of years old

have you tried putting just the folder vusolose on the USB? does not that box require you to press the power button on initial boot to activate the usb for flashing?
 
Which would make it the root folder!! Haven't tried that as whichever source I tried packaged the files the same way... but I'll give it a go. And I think the method for this box is power down -insert usb - power up
 
its all about test and see, you may need to try a different usb stick? are you using a format tool to clean wipe the usb for Fat32? Different boxes have differnet methods on how to flash?
 
As Bangord said above the Vu+ solo 2 se is a clone box as I have one and offical images don't go on it. You need to google lonrisin v4, that's the image for it

Yes I saw it and never seen it before lol. Just said experimental image. No keys folder. No usual cable tuner settings or cams I could see easily anyway. So why saying post pics of box, info tab etc to see if others know more?

Post your eBay link even or confirm if its the box that chris posted in post17?
