Not too sure where the WOS reference came from! I bought the box off Ebay. I have asked him for some history and he said he bought it from http://vuplus.co.uk/home/
And I've tried the Lonrisin version... still nothing

That's not my box so, forget the lonrisin image as that's only for clone box, it looks genuine box to me

Does a new image overwrite anything sat there currently? And if not can you delete the existing?

As Bang says, the about section is showing firmware called 'experimental' and dated March 2016

Try a new bootloader for the box m8, it might help..??

And the clone box for the vu+ solo2 se v2 is the " meelo se "

As Bangord said above the Vu+ solo 2 se is a clone box as I have one and offical images don't go on it. You need to google lonrisin v4, that's the image for it

I have had the solo se and it was genuine. From world of say who don't sell clones boxes. The op is probably needing to try different usbs my box flashed any image with a SanDisk cruzer 2gb flashes any box first go.

So no the solo se isn't a clone box there maybe clones of the box but the box on a while isn't a clone.
