Jaglover, it sounds like your problem lies with the way you are flashing your box, have a read through this support tread http://www.techkings.org/threads/wooshbuild-v7.133480/
http://www.wooshbuild.co.uk/BaseBuild-WB7/BaseBuild-WB7-2S.zipSorry Wooshman, when you say download basebuild for the 2s is there a version to it, even though I'm nearly 70, sometimes I talk like a 14 yr old you got to laugh.
Many thanks maxal, did it about six or more times last night to no avail, even formatted the usb, changed it today and it worked. Thought I had bricked it, thanks again, have a great day :)Jaglover, it sounds like your problem lies with the way you are flashing your box, have a read through this support tread http://www.techkings.org/threads/wooshbuild-v7.133480/
Thanks for the info Wooshman! Was my fault think it was a faulty usb drive, changed it this morning and has worked. Thanks again for taking the time to reply. :)You will never see the select screen resolution with WooshBuild as it is preset, so it sounds like you flashed something other than BaseBuild or WooshBuild.
In the zgemma folder is normally another folder depending on your box. Inside there is a file called noforce. RENAME it to force.
Turn your box off, put the usb into the box and turn it on. This will force the box to flash whatever image you have on the USB stick. BaseBuild already has this done for you though.
thats the one im on mateView attachment 29314 Wooshman is this the right version
Yes, that is the latest version.Wooshman is this the right version
Im running the solo2 on wb7 and yes its safe to do the software updates just like you did on the h2s. Basebuild sets up exactly the same way it creates the swap file for you. I can honestly say Ive never had any problems with this box running any wooshbuild versioni`ve been using this build on my zgemma and just upgraded to vu+ solo2.....
before i set it up i`m wondering if the vu+ is classed as supported with openATV and/or is it generally safe to do software updates with this box/build once set up?
also i`m pretty sure i recall reading that the vu+ does`nt need swapfile or something like zgemma does.....
can anyone confirm if this is the case please.....the vu+ has an internal hdd and i was assuming i`d be doing similar as i did with zgemma and usb regarding swapfile until i saw that.

Yep just flash it with basebuild and it will do the restok thanks a lot.....so swapfile will go onto internal hdd?
I will have a look and update the plugin as needed. Maybe I didn't make it do anything when you select it.Whooshman have you any idea why you can't remove your VPN account on digibit plugin cos if you click on it nothing happens using zgemma box?
