Get where people come from with wanting to be informed but they have to find new panels source providers have to do what they need to do then they have to trial the panels for stability then start a mass migration of customers subs then sort resellers out then if new panels can't cope with demand then the new panel providers have to support their infrastructure out to cope with the demand you can't really put a time frame on how long it's going to be

100% understand and in truth knew the answer before I wrote the post, but as I said lack of information leaves a void which is often filled by rumour, inaccurate information and lies. So if our providers just kept us in the loop by sending a quick email to reassure us it is being sorted. LOL

Imagine being a seller/provider and all the shit Emails you are getting with the same questions!! Best to wait and let them get on with !!
Lot of mine is back limited Jedi on zgemma still has epg, Smarters on Firestick some back on no epg!!

Get that mate 100% but they could be thinking if we crack on with what needs to be done then the quicker may get sorted and the amount of customers they may have to email reply too could take time off what they need to be getting on with that's how I look at it I've had a couple of emails stating what's happening but wouldn't be fair to openly post them as not everyone will have same supplier and don't want 100s of pms lol

Ur looking at couple of days to probably a week before everything is back to normal.its not just as easy as flicking a switch,
the new systems providers are using is buggy as hell apparently and when u think it getting somewhere u have to start all over again,
its a learning curve with hardly no one to guide you.
stay strong people everything will be back,be patient and don't bug the life out of ur providers asking dumb ass questions over andd over again

I just keep trying the apps each day with fingers crossed. It would be good if we had an indication as to when normal service will resume, i.e a week, 2 weeks, ever?

At least one of the alternative panel services closed to new customers yesterday, citing load balancing issues so I suspect that some of the alternatives don't have the same hosting infrastructure as XC in place to cope with 5000+ providers bringing millions of end users between them!. So hesitation to fix the problem or give a time frame for completion, may not be unwillingness, it may be because they haven't yet found anything large enough for them to migrate their customer base to or maybe they want their rivals to be the beta testers of the other option(s) in case of failure!.

Many of the other panels being discussed seem to be centrally hosted too, which seems very foolhardy now that the Authorities have a tried and tested method of bringing everything down. If I was running a service with a healthy bank balance i'd using this time to hire one, or a team of freelance coders to custom build me a panel in order to self host, under my control based on a design which was wasn't available to, or reliant on others, even if it took a bit more time to do.

One of my services has come back online, but he is largely private - offering subs to members of only one 'closed' forum and so with <100 subs he could probably rebuild and come back quite quickly.

Personally, i'm more than happy to wait a while for the other one, if it means when it does come back its going to be stable and reliable, and not likely to be taken down again in days / weeks due to migrating to the same type of infrastructure which took it all out the first time!.

That would be great if he only had one customer.
To expect him to send 500 emails out, even copy/pasting the same thing would take him eight hours.
Then he'd have about 300 replies to respond to, taking him another 4 hours.
12 hours gone that he could have been working on a fix, this is why he doesn't bother as it's a waste of time

Everyone will have their view, opinion and as initially mentioned, lots of specualtion. My 2 pennies worth is:

I think you will find providers themselves are relying on platform(s) that are seeing an unpreceidented demand and these platforms themselves need up upgrade to cope with this demand. I'm sure I seen 2 days ago some post 'my supplier is migrating and will be back up in 2 days' - where are these members confirming they are all up and running?! - they are not. You are just seeing members post that their service is up and down...........

Whilst I agree you should have some sort of update, the question is - are some giving false hope? or are you hearing little as there is no real progress/update to provide due to this challenge...............................even if you did get an update and the supplier says 2 days, 1 week, etc - how many emails will the supplier have once this time is up and no solution is in place.

The mods have locked the trial thread for a reason...........when it's open again. I am assuming the 'confidence in the market' (lol) means there is some normality again on the scene

I am not the most tech savvy person but I send group emails to over 100 people (kids footie) a weeks and takes a couple of minutes, only a very small percentage ask for clarification but perhaps this conversation is symptomatic of a new illness 3pm withdrawal sickness !! LOL

Xtream Codes website taken down

Reported the other day I have 3 suppliers, (Link above) Now my suppliers have informed me fully and updated me all the way.
I guess thats up to your provider. A good one will do that with some sort of news letter or web page or something on them lines.

Anyway my news is all 3 are working fine. Just watching Eng v tonga on Tv and Hudds v Baggys about to start and Rangers game on BT in 15 ins away. (vlc player on PC)
So happy days here for me.

Has for EPG pfffff never need or really use it, Use google if I need to look for whats on where/when/channel.

I guess reading this post you may think I like sport, Well yes.

So hopefully its not all doom n gloom, Its just about waiting?

Thanks Chris.tv.png

if your provider is a reseller and the only information he has of you was on the xc panel so now can’t access it therefore he cannot reply to you as got no information to get in touch! Or he’s the provider and busy sorting other issues out as this is the main priority for him

UPDATE
Some facts instead of rumours !
The main new source for migration for a new replacement for XC is struggling badly to cope.
He is a one man band (ex xc) and has gone from 10 customers to 1k+ in 2 days before he shut his signup site.
Every time he fixes one piece of code, it breaks another.
This does not seem as though it will be a quick fix.
The scammers are out in force offering cracked xc versions but again a lot of these do not work properly.
Good providers will be posting on an info site or similar on a regular basis.
There is nothing they can do at present so plaguing them with emails solves nothing.
The major source providers of streams who have different options are getting their act together and a lot of streams are coming back on.
If you have some iptv then be thankful. If you don't then it's a waiting game.
There will be a lot of providers/resellers fall by the wayside because of this so be very careful when normal services appear to have resumed.
I will not be reopening the request thread until i know for sure that there are a number of working systems /alternatives available.

Not sure if this has anything to do with channels coming back or just a fluke I'm using xtreamtv went to settings and disabled iptv6 (blue button) then ok (green button ) and now watching the footie if this helps anyone

Not really understanding the technicalities of this. Is there a reason I can see my epg for channels but the channels won’t load?

My fire stick has 50% of channels now running and me zgemma is at about 60% of channels . These guys are working there ass of for us to fix this behind the scenes . Fair play to them and bare with them

My provider is giving regular updates on their info site and a lot of channels are back up and running, across multiple platforms MAG, M3U, Fire Stick and Enigma boxes. They are working really hard to get things back to some kind of normality. As benijofar has stated we need to be a bit more patient and give them time to work through the current problem. Nobody saw this coming and I think we should be thankful that they have managed to get some services running as quickly as they have
