CCcam / mgcam

Any1 help I have n line in CCcam and I seen a post saying n line should be in mgcam what is the difference

cccam and mgcam are different sharing sys.
you can use nline in cccam and mgcam but good service provider acess nline works nice in cccam.

MgCamd uses the cache buffer. It means that when a channel is opened, the MGCamd server saves the channel key and when another user or users open the same channel/channels, MGCamd receives and uses that key data from buffer. This makes the server much faster because of the fact that it does not have to check the card twice for the key data again, so it allows a faster channel zapping and a much better tv experience.Mgcamd server does not stop without the human intrusion, meaning the interfearance of the server admin. Where as, the biggest problem of the CCCam server is the great likelyhood to stop randomly at any unpredictable time due to the massive amount of requests from the cards. Even commands scripted for the automatic reset in case the server stops, could not prevent the time loss described above.

found that elsewhere and basically it means mgcam is smoother once on a channel but can take a bit longer to get initially connected.....i've tried both and find mgcam a better option and less effected by internet speeds

Pefectly explained thanks

Ah,

I was wondering why there was nothing in my Ccam setup settings. I have found some data in the MgCamd settings, so does that mean I have an nline?

Thanks,

I've tried ot ask this before, but can I backup the nline to a usb stick or is it a case of pen and paper?

:whacko:
I have a Corsair 8GB drive that I had formatted to FAT32. Whenever I put it into the SkyBox it wouldn't register it. I thought I was doing something or wrong or was in the wrong menu.
I then gave up and took out my 32GB microsd card from my phone. It is formatted to NTFS. The SkyBox picked it up straight away!!!
I then stuck in a CorsairGT USB3.0 32GB and that was picked up straight away!!!

Why doesn't it pick up my "normal" USB2.0 8GB stick?

Anyways, got the dump....👍
