According to the OP it is not necessary to wipe/initialise the HDD during the install process (unless you have problems with recordings) - does this mean I should be able to upgrade from an 'old' sucmnsee image to the latest one without losing any of the 'movies' or EPG information on the currently connected HDD ?

ZGemma box coming this week and feeling much more confident about setting up having read this.
I've been told the move up from a F5 box is well worth it.

Try unplugging your box at the socket and full router reboot

done that, message doesn't come up anymore but when i put the channel on Sly Sportsnews or any other pay channel it freezes with the previous free channel i was on.

yes and the line works fine on the OpenBox but not on the ZGemma Star S2.

reload your epg or set it up in your system settings

the sticks basically empty. ive only just got the box and set it up so its always been like this. i must've missed something

Your epg needs setting up, just do as post 1 says re: epg
