Hi newbie looking for help. Only fta picutures on box Zgemma H1 running cable only. Box picks up 600+ channels and lists them. Only able to view FTA channels, Box freezes when trying to go up or down channels looked everywhere tried loads . Problem with Timeout for tunerlock when ran ABM. Any help appreciated. :beg: spent hours on it
 
For tuner lock disable tuner a if your only using cable menu, setup, service searching, Tuner configuration change tuner a to unconfigured.
For only fta did you put your line details in correctly and started cam?
 
What image have you got if your on sucmnsee's latest backup menus, setup, service searching, autobouqets marker, configuration change include not indexed channels to yes then providers change roi to no make sure you have your area custom not sd or HD green to save then start scan.

Hi all i have so far loaded the image and scanned for channels,obvs disabled tuner b as i only have one cable and have connected it to tuner a...Great picture but i just can`t figure out putting my line in..
Is the 1st line important as i don`t know what to put there.Also i have put the 2nd line in as for example CWS = my.house.is 20000 johnsmith09 13012 01 02 03 etc to 14.i then stay at the end as told to and press ok followed by exit and do i want to save yes..
I have the same picture as the post above with mgcamd 1.38 with a green tick and have also restarted with the yellow button..When i come out and back to channels and choose a sly one non HD the picture just freezes...It shows all the relevant info of the channel icluding signal strength but no picture..
I have also gone into information/network and i have a green light for link so assume i am connected..
 
Sounds like line problem i would try a test line

try ftp with DCC and put your own config and mgcamd file in relevant place m8
 
Are you sure have put in the line details correctly is it nline?

Nothing wrong with the mg_cfg file but yes try ftp method easier to copy and paste rather than using the remote
 
Ok cheers will give the ftp route a try..i downloaded filezilla yesterday and had a look at some youtube tutorials but this is the bit i thought i'd get stuck on..i have been running the line through an amiko box with no issues and have been with satarabia for 4 yrs with no issues and have also reconnected amiko to test n all is good..I'm certain i've put the 2nd line in correctly i just didn't understand what the text should be in the 1st line...i've basically just put my name in there...cheers
 
I'm not sure what you mean by first line if you mean the keep alive bit don't worry about that for now.

For ftp try this courtesy of Tich

Idiots Guide for adding your line with Filezilla
On your Box Menu > Info> Network > Get your box IP address
Open up Filezilla Host (top left ) Type in IP address Username root Leave others blank Press Quickconnect
Box should then connect to computer Left side computer, Right hand box
For N lines
On right hand side locate usr Double click it Then Keys Double click It You should now see 2 files Mg and Newcamd list On Newcamd list Left click/right click Then click View/Edit ( It may ask you what program you wish to view the file choose Notepad) You will see 1 sample of what your line should look like either edit your line details or Delete up to CWS = (space either side of = )
Copy and past your line Less the N: in its place*
Disconnect from Filezilla By Clicking the X just under bookmarks top of page
Press blue button on remote control >.Softcam Manager Select Mg 1.38 and start cam Restart box (not with GUI)
For C lines*
Instead of usr/keys on box Your line goes Complete with the C in the Ect folder on box and select CCcam and start in Softcam manager and restart box

Ahh so dsayers2014 i don`t have a newcamd i have a cccam so i`ve been putting the line in the wrong place?
 
Nice 1 cheers all sorted..Always had cccam because i have a motorised dish and used to get all satellites which i learnt with newcamd had to be put in individually..
Thanks for all the help guys..
I have an android box running kodi and wookie will this box handle satellite and kodi as i bought an evo xfinity and it was useless?
