IMDB search?

IMDB search, red line on epg
having googled it and used search on here ?, do I assume its a way or recording series??, do I need it, can I remove it safely, and how do I remove it

IMDB or internet movie database. Is exactly what the name suggests. It allows you to click a movie or tv series and display all the information from imdb.com about it. i.e the cast, the director, storyline, review ratings etc etc. It is for reference only to give you extra information about what you are watching or are planning to watch. It is not in anyway related to recording movies or tv series it just provides you information. It is built into your build.

My IMDb is not working,it says no details found when searching for program/film..plugin is installed any ideas?

i think some channels it works ,even on the xtrend it did not work for me?

I've tried a few now and it lists the programmes fine but no details whatsoever..only a small thing but it was very handy!

there is a fix for this

extract and transfer to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/IMDb
Gui restart will be required

I have xtrend et8000 the imdb is now working after running the update

nice one,as it may depend on image on box and if you did the software updates as i dont lol
