Yes, there are easier routes. Not many places have all matches at 1080p at 50 fps. I am waiting to see if Paramount Plus Mexico comes with English commentary. That one has in app purchase so it’s a bit easier 🤞🏻

I used Zadarma. A private virtual Aussie number is £5 per month, but you need to pay for 3 months up front to get them to switch on sms. Worked like a charm for Optus and Kayo registration. £15 one time cost, but I have used Kayo a lot and Optus off and on.

As far as I know if you had a old optus account then you won't need a tel number. However if you create one now you will..but my understanding is that don't send a OTP so a fake Aus tel will work ...unless @alexanderras did get OTP request?

Kayo definitely sent a OTP, and I definitely also have an old OTP from Optus in my virtual phone sms inbox. To be honest I don’t recall the process exactly.
Maybe it’s possible to open an account under a fake phone number. Anyone up for the challenge? ☺️

Sometimes English commentary - lately I have mostly had a no commentary at all.
If you’re not fussed about 1080p at 50/60 fps it’s a good solution. SSport used to be my backup, but that’s been Setanta lately.

This one doesn’t have an Apple TV app, so I watch on either my Chromecast with Google TV or my iphone/ipad.
Sometimes. But I have also watched eg Formula 1 replays with no commentary. I find it a little strange tbh. Plus I am a stickler for the Sky coverage when it comes to Formula 1…
Bud what you think off the Google TV would you recommend it thinking of getting one

I like mine - a lot more portable than my AppleTV, able to use VPN, and I find it plays some things better than the AppleTV.
However, I have never had any of the other android boxes/sticks, so I can’t really comment on how it compares to them.
It definitely has an official Setanta app so it would solve your firestick problem.

If you have no desire for Upscaling and playing movies with Dolby Vision then a older Shield is around £75-85 at CEX.
Hardly any difference apart from them 2 features across all generations (minus the cylinder 2019 version which has lesser specs anyway). You can hook up a memory stick/hard drive to them all too. However if it’s just apps 16GB storage is plenty. Full 64bit OS and Playstore. The Tegra X1 is a beastly chip that beats 95% of Android Boxes in performance.

I got p+ to work with control d on mexico, also private vpn works, are u sure u have correct app?
P+ usa is a different app
P+ international will work without a vpn in UK
u need to change region in controld
for those with controld, they now allow you to share your custom rules folder with other users, and also allow dynamic dns now
think each paid account allows u too have 20 users, i use it for my login service and have it all finely tuned for all my direct streams

OK managed to do this ...could be handy for some of you. Similar method as disneyplus turkey.
Using same method eg get apple music app from Google play store and subscribe via Google play. Individual account is abt 0.94p per mnth and family account £1.64 per mnth share x6
Only downside is all those you share with must be same region...eg have turkey Apple ID..prob not good for iPhone users as you likely won't want phone using turkey ID. However for Android users...that's not issue..
You can login to apple music app but need to have created a turkey Apple ID and this can be done via the apple music app on android phones.
Hopefully that makes sense...so in reality you can family share the x6 with 6 android users..

Don't think it can be done ..am sure they went to OTP like hotstar. Only one without OTP last I checked was VOOT I believe.

Interesting mate. I guess you can keep your regular AppleId login for ICloud etc and just use this Turkish login for Apple Music/AppStore? I think Apple Music is determined by whatever account is logged into AppStore.
