Was trying with Old Android phone using free tunnel bear , but the fact they pick up VPN usage at all is bit worrying as it indicates they are looking for it.

Tried Optus and they do indeed require Mobile phone number on registration.

Every service trys to detect a vpn mate ...its not supposed to be accessed in UK...but ...express, windscribe work ..for Optus does it state they will send a OTP if not use any valid tel. Also if you think fubo try to detect vpns...you ain't experienced anything as yet until u try optus with vpns🤣🤣
 
Optus looks to be OTP, haven't got fair as web page locks up after enter email.

SSports I don't think ever even tried to detect VPN. It was so simple.

Is Optus worse cat and mouse game with VPNs?

Had enough of chasing VPNs,smart DNS and even static IP lines with iplayer etc and switching them up to drive me cracked.

Lately I have been having less issues with Optus detecting my VPN than I used to. ControlD has always worked for me, and Windscribe has been working fine too

It's the old conundrum of:
- price
- quality of stream (important for fast moving sports)
- ability to sign up (getting over hurdles like the requirement for a *local* credit card + local mobile number)
- VPN / DNS issues (are they regularly blocked etc)

From what I've managed to work out, I *think* these are the FPS (quality) for the main ones:
  • [30fps - SSport – Turkey - but has just lost the EPL rights]
  • 30fps - Eleven Sports Portugal - Technical Specifications
  • 50fps - Optus Sport
  • 50fps – DAZN
  • 50fps - Peacock
  • 60fps – Paramount+ US [Paramount+ Mexico will presumably be the same]
  • 60fps – Fubo
  • ??? - Vidio
  • ??? - Setanta
Optus is putting up the prices up to around £15/month.

Fubo Canada is meant to be good, but you must have a Canadian credit / debit card (no prepaid cards either) so it's difficult to get.

Paramount+ Mexico seems like it might be good but they've not done any EFL streaming yet, so who knows what that'll be like. You can pay by buying a Mexican Google Play gift card / iTunes Gift card + it's only around £35 / year.

And then there's DAZN in Spain which is £12/month, but some people say how great DAZN is.

I've signed up to Setanta (£30/year) + Vidio (around £15 / year) - both cheap, though Vidio's picture quality isn't that great so far so I probably won't rely on that.

I may end up doing Peacock (though they only show half the games) and/or Paramount+ Mexico (which is showing all of the games in theory). I like to have a few options in case 1 doesn't work on the day!

Those tally with my experiences of FPS. When you then overlay wanting EPL matches in min 50 fps, 1080p and English commentary I think the list becomes:

Peacock (but not all matches)
Optus sport
Paramount+ Mexico (allegedly, yet to be seen)

Optus is OTP for signup but have not needed it ever again. I solved it using Zadarma and buying a virtual line for £15 (one off) which I use for Optus and Kayo

Heard its £20 for year if you live in turkey😏 try Google play turkey account ..not many offers in uk ...also if u need the one server ...can setup custom one with 1 country vpn unlimited $2 pm
 
Another service to look at is Megogo (Ukraine) they had selected EPL on Setanta Sports channels, but still to find out if they will show all EPL next season. They also had La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, UCL, Europa, Europa Conference, UFC, F1, plus loads more

I pay monthy and works out about £8, but they have discounts for yearly etc


They also have an app for firestick, smart tvs etc

Setanta £30 year all EPL games also I see champion League icon on it as well
 
For anyone wanting an alternative Sky are running a pre season promo. No VPN required!

You can just pay with a regular Debit/Credit Card alternatively you can pay via you Kidneys (both) lungs (both) heart lungs & liver.

Works out only 129 a Month or £1548 in total for the first year!

Yes, I've got Fubo installed on my Nvidia Shield, just get it from the US Play Store - I have my US subscription on it, with no issue at all, it's just a normal app to download. It works for Canada too (it's the same app as Kyser143 says), but you need a Canadian credit card to pay for the Canadian service - there's no option to pay with PayPal / Apple Pay / Google Pay or google / itunes vouchers. I tried to pay for the Canadian version with a couple of my US credit cards and a couple of UK cards, but none worked (error messages along the lines of "these aren't Canadian cards").
 
Hey could anyone point me in the direction of a good app for both Optus and directv please, need them both for shield tv, the apps I have for both are terrible keeps going pixelated on the videos
