Viark VIARK TYPE BOXES

Wait a day or so for this new information to be announced, it concerns boxes that have been activated in the last 6 months.

Interesting after being re-imbursed my money.
The provider once again told me I can order again after I find the IM of the server and let him know.
Even though I explained that the information he requested is not available to view on the Viark 4K receiver as communicated to me a few posts back…🤷🏻‍♂️🤯

@Ferret. i was just watching sky cinema thriller hd because the station stopped the WLAN connection was gone picture writing encrypted station WLAN key must be entered why?just like that WLAN failure now i have to Enter the wlankey again.this normal ?already entered wlankey twice in the event of a WLAN failure.WLAN key wlankey failed why key is correct?

No. Your router and/or the wifi on the viark must be poo. Try an RJ45 cable instead to the router.

Everyone keeps saying it must be something to do with his network but he's insistent that its everything but that. His internet is also shared with others.

Anybody using their Viark with a motor?

I am going from a multi lnb setup to a motor.

In antenna configuration it seems like I need to select motor and diseqc 1.2 for every satellite?

Is that normal? Can I not set motor across the board?

Hi guys hope someone can help,I am trying to buy SP1 for my viark sat 4k box from what i have been told is a genuine seller but I suppose they are been extra careful because they keep saying have you upgraded your server to forever 1.40 for SP1 and I said I have upgraded my box to version 1.14 for SP1 to receive sky de and sky uk and they keep telling me you will find the forever 1.40 information in net & games and then server config and keep pressing right on you're remote but that information is nowhere to be seen so all I can think of that information might be available on other type boxes but not viark boxes so again they have said they still can upgrade my box without this information but at my own risk meaning I suppose if it doesn't work i won't get my money back,any help appreciated.Thanks.

Anybody using their Viark with a Dragonsat / Dark Motor?

I’ve set the box to Diseqc 1.2.

Plugged it into the motor and turned the box on. The motor started moving and then stopped.

East and West lights flash as does the LED indicator.

Any ideas what is up?

Have you tried selecting USALS on the box and see if that will reset the motor movement mate? Also what happens when on Diseqc 1.2 options you can press auto move East/west setting

Although I don't have mine set up to drive the motor but I have seen you need to enable every satellite to use usals.

Ok so the motor is working / moving now. Is it normal for the lights to continue to flash?

Not normally mate but all depends how is all stored to begin with I guess. I have mine set up on Diseqc 1.2 on the box and whenever I press SAT on remote to change to another satellite the motor moves to that Sat. I only ever used USALS when I first set up the box to select different sats

I can’t remember at first setup how you select if you’re using a motor, diseqc switch or single LNB?

Like this mate, LNB type - Universal. Lnb power 13V/18V. Diseqc 1.0 + Diseqc 1.1 select none on both. Motor - Diseqc 1.2

That’s my settings under antenna configuration. Take a note of your USALS coordinates and if you reset the box insert them before connecting your satellite cable at the back mate

Sorry, I don't have a Viark anymore, I use a Tiger 4K box now.
Anyway if you have Forever server then Biss Au will open most Biss channels or feeds, as for powervu there's only the bookies channels on 4.8e & they should open too, then you can save the files to a USB flash drive.
If you're new to the Viark then these are some shortcuts & instructions.
F1 + 111 - CCcam
F1 + 147 - Softcam Keys (Biss)
To save or load channel list on the receiver, - "Menu" - "Channels" - "User Channel List" - "Save User Data"
To save channel list to a USB Memory Stick - "USB" - "Upload" (yellow Button) - "Upload Channel To USB",
Biss/Powervu Softcam File can be saved here too, - "Upload Key To USB".
(I didn't have a Viark 4k so some of these may not apply)

Exactly please what must my Virak Sat and the router be? @Drox but connecting a cable to the router does not go the viark sat 4k receiver because the router is in the appartement opposite.we share the router in the whole familly house with 5 appartement.also have a wifi devolo repeater in the outlet

Yesterday night 20 hour and today i certainly tried to enter the WLAN key in the wifi setting without success,it always appears failed altough wlankey is corect .on a click with wifi setting and ip setting (wifi)that is ip acccepted was not.pulling tue Power plug from the viark sat 4k didnt help either.only when i deactivated server config server and then had it aktive again was everything bright again sky.dw absat csat others.i never had such a Problem.experts say there is a wifi error bug in the pt1.14 Software that needs to be fixed with the next pt Software Update from viark team.usb WLAN error fixed the Problem already existed in 2021 wirh the viark sat 4k and the viark sat h265 satelite receivers and all orher viark modell.

I’ll give USALS a go then. Not had much luck with it in the past so always gone with Diseqc!
