CS decodes on the fly, its at the same rate of transmission as the sat, so it cant have a delay,
or are you saying that the receiver has the capability of buffering the sat signal for 3 seconds.?

Yes it buffers the signal for 3 seconds (default setting) you can actually up this to 30 seconds and then also add a further delay using timeshift X (one of the options in the menu).

For Nova (when it works) they use a 23.5 second delay as the default setting.
 
@ cactikid and steptoe, I am using wired, not wifi, and it is on the satellite not IPTV and it has nothing to do with the router or my network as it has always happened from day one and is like cokeaddict has explained.

As I said, if it works like it has done on the few times I have tried it this week then I am happy with it but no doubt when there is a load on the server over the weekend it may have problems.

We pay our money and we take our chances, nothing in life is guaranteed :yum:

How do you increase the delay on viark? I wonder if that would remedy some of the problem channels.

Yup, I tried bt sport for the game. That wasn’t working, so switched to dazn. I thought I’d check on here just to make sure it’s not only me.

To be fair to the box, for me anyway, it’s the first time that I’ve wanted to watch a match and it’s not worked.

It cannot be a main box for anyone on 28.2.

I have been playing for 1 week now and it is not worth the hassle. I watched the City game on BT on old c/s lines in SD and watched cricket highlights on IPTV .

I may keep the box for Euro sats but again my existing enigma2 box is opening 90% of channels with much better user interface - those lines does not cost much and better value than these boxes IMHO
 
Both of yesterday’s matches were available in HD on various sats. I managed to watch Liverpool match last few minutes on another sat with viark

I did read they were working on the motor issues of the Android versions over on the Spanish board maybe they have worked something out for more reliable positioning .

Anyone on the new DRS2 firmware confirm somat for me.

Channels working but not highlighted in Green ?
