Opens the same channels as forever, it uses the same servers it seems, they just call it mars instead.
So it stored that channel ? Must of been early on in its scan then.
What's the channel limit again ?

Hows the resolution and rebooting from standby on the UHD 🤔

Yeh it's not ideal, but I can press a button on the remote to reset the res, without having to go through the menu's.
Remind me, what do you need to do, to set that timer ?
Just a manual one pretty easy bud.
Do you just leave the UHD on now not bothering with standby ?
GTMedia got one thing nearly right ripping off the Viark 4k firmware though 👍

Nah I still put it in standby (habit more than anything else).
Not sure if they ripped off the fw or if it's just the base set by Ali, but it's similar for sure.
The nicer remote and extra 3.5GB of ram over the sat 4k and the £48 delivered price tag for the box more than make up for the few issues atm though.

No I thought it was 2GB, but having checked the specs again, it seems it has 4GB
Have you physically checked China has a habbit of copy and paste on specs.
The Sat 4k has a 512 flash and 2GB ram but if the UHD genuinely has 4gb its double

Where is that from as everything I could find for the Sat 4K says:
- 16MB flash
- DDR3 256MB X 2 / 1866M memory
Exactly my point it depends on where you get the spec from with China you just dont know.
Look at what you posted does that make sence 16mb flash 256mb x 2 plus 1866mb memory 🤔
I always thought the sat 4k had 1GB ram

No idea then, I can only go on what I read when I bought it.
The site I bought the viark from said it had 512mb ram
The cpu is 1ghz (upto), but never seen anything (until now) that suggests the sat 4k has more ram than 512mb.
The spec i posted says the 4k has a 512mb flash 😆 Nah i don't believe that either or 2 x 256 . Why would it have 2 .
