hi, im having trouble getting openvpn to stay running for more than a few seconds, this was working fine for a month or so (ipvanish as provider), yet now it keeps stopping within a few seconds of being started.

not much info around regarding this problem, apart from a TUN/TAP application problem that is potentially missing.....?

is this fixable, or will wooshbuild only work with the built in vpn program going forward?

The plugin simply copies the files required to the openvpn folder. I don't get involved with what else is needed to run. All three providers work without issue for myself and also Makido and I haven't done anything with TUN/TAP. openVPN as a service is installed as standard in WB.

You can manually sort your vpn yb doing whatever it is your provider says you need to do. Just select the remove the account option in the plugin and the uninstall it. Then the plugin won't play any part of anything you do.

It is located on the "Hard Disk" in this case it was the H7 I backed up settings for.

I have lost freeview itv hd for the past 48 hours.

I have just tried to rescan and it times out with this error message.

Any help appreciated please...

With some problems sometimes the best option is to start again from fresh by downloading base build and and set up again from scratch.

Any body using v7 on a 2s find that the box sometimes won't reboot in which case you need to pull plug?

Xtream Editor 2.10 has now been added to the plugins feed in extensions. I have uploaded the untouched IPK so if it doesn't work please don't blame me.

Make sure your internet is working before you do anything else. Maybe try running something in IPTV player.

I have just checked my end and the WB7 image is there just waiting for you.

Thanks I will give it ago, my internet provider is BT unfortunately at the moment I can't get fibre hoping I'll get it soon, if I play something from the iptv player and stops and starts so it's more or less I've got a problem with the internet dropping in speed

The download will work even if you were using dialup, unless you are completely dropping connection, which is unlikely. The reason I said about IPTV player is to test and ensure you have a connection to the internet. There are several ways you can check the connection but that is the easiest I think.

Worst case if you are sure you have a connection, backup your settings and then flash BaseBuild for version 7. When the setup asks if you want to delete the contents of your USB device say NOOOOOOOOOO

Ok that's great news, Netflix which is ending soon runs ok, but sometimes the Internet use to go down.
At least I know what could be the problem speed dropping
