Lincsat ViX4E2 Image for ZGemma 2S

Was using this image until my box crashed, latest version on the 1st link won't install, just keeps saying FLSH, I can install other images but prefer this one but I'm stuck. :-(
 
Left for over 30 minutes.

EDIT: fixed by deleting Imageversion, noforce and splash.bin and copying from another backup from another image, the ones in the backup must be corrupted.

Double EDIT: spoke too soon, doesn't work but Sucmnsee backup does. I'll try to download on another PC later maybe that's the issue.

The image may be too big to load using the USB boot method on boxes with the smaller NAND, you would have to use the software manager to flash the image if not using an original box.
 
This is correct you can not use usb flash with images this size there is a size limit plus as lincsat knows and has said numerous times you do not flash it that way it is to be used with software manager and works with this method so I do not know why people do not just do as has been said to work.
 
VIX4 Graphic bouncing around screen over the recording, never seen this before.
Update to the new image – I started to record a programme last night and played the file about a 30 seconds into the recording, after a few seconds I got VIX4 Graphic bouncing around the screen over the recording. The bouncing VIx4 logo stayed on the screen and after a couple of minutes I pressed stop and then pressed play again and the VIX4 logo was gone, ran the file from the being and the logo was gone, so wasn’t embedded in the recording.
Anybody now what was happening?
 
There is a ViX screensaver when you pause a playback, I've not seen it on this image, only on OpenViX but I assume it's on all ViX based images.

I can see a setting for the screen saver but I’ve tried to replicate it but not been able, must have been a glitch.

You need to enter the IP address of the box.
Go to Menu > Information > Network and note down the IP - mine is 192.168.1.42
So I enter - 192.168.1.42:10001
Replace the IP in bold with the value you noted above.
 
Thanks for your help.. I am struggling to write in bold in the IP address, how do i do this? I wrote in bold in Word document and copied across but it did not show in bold writing.
 
You do not need to type in bold - I just used the bold to emphasise the IP address.
Just type what I showed above in your web browser address bar to get to the Oscam web interface.
 
Hi I have followed your instructions, but it keeps coming up
"This webpage is not available"

this has been happening for the last two days.. can anyone try it with theres and see if it works?

or is there there any other way to enter the n lines??
