Sly blocking iptv

Hi I'm not sure if this is the case but my IPTV was working fine on Saturday and then off on sunday I know the supplier and gave seen my line condition on the panel and all seems grand server side..would sky have blocked the server or has the XtreamTV plugin decided to pack in.. the only 2 sky users he has on enigma2 boxes services have gone off but the rest remain fine..

Anyone any ideas?

My iptv was fine yesterday but doing nothing but freeze today and with other channels going some providers could be updating there servers I've been intouch with my supplier and that's what he's told me but I can't answer for any body else if that helps just a waiting game some people could have a complete different explination
 
There are issues with IPTV servers being ddos attacked lately, the standard statement is that it is their competitors playing battle ships, but i have a sneaky suspension that there is more to this saga that may include net providers prem leg and uncle Rupert (obviously providers won't say that it's sly and co that's pinging them, but i have a sneaky suspension) make what you will of my rant

I had a 24 hour Xtream trial on my H2S about 3 weeks ago. The night of the Manc derby. Seemed a good night to test it.
Was flawless.
Signed up for a month today as a result of the purge.
Really not much good at all.
Guy has been sound as a pound for 3 years on C/S.
Not sure what to make of it all. Will keep evaluating.

I'm new to iptv so couldn't say my subscription off the same provider for my tv the test line I had on off him was flawless but since sky nocked more channels off yesterday doing nothing but freeze constantly
 
Cant see sky blocking iptv. I can under stand mobdro or the likes as it comes from a few servers but iptv can come from 1000s can't block them all

True I put cartoon network HD on this morning on my iptv subscription and American dad was on it instead lol

Could possibly be the case tbh would be interesting to see if people are having same problems iptv constantly freezing
 
Could it be that they are transmitting channels on HD or can this be sorted with a firmware update? I have a V8s and a few are going

Any user with sky and using iptv may need to disable Sky Shield should sort the problems out

Sky Broadband

On Sky Broadband you must disable Sky Shield, to do so please follow these steps.

1. Go to http://www.sky.com/shop/broadband-talk/broadband-shield/ if the webpage just takes you to the main sky page, just google "Sky Shield"
2. Hit the Sign In button
3. For some bizarre reason, Sky may forward you to the Sky.com home page, if it does, then reload http://www.sky.com/shop/broadband-talk/broadband-shield
4. You will now see a page that says "activate Sky Shield", this does NOT mean your sky shield is off
5. Click active Sky Shield
6. Sky Shield is likely set to "suitable for everyone" or "teens and older", to disable it set it to "suitable for adults only" and click save.
 
Worked perfectly for me! Strange thing was, everything was ok yesterday, today all channels went blank despite me not changing anything!

I thought I had this switched off previously but obviously not - thanks a lot!
 
Im on EE.
All gone dark today. Just before the cricket starts......:mad:
Network test on box is all green ticks and still ok.
How else do i check if box being blocked?

Streaming Youtube etc fine on PC on same network.

Its back! Nice quality too!

Noticed mine as gone off today as been working fine for the last few weeks. Hopefully just down for an upgrade or something
