I'm still not getting picons for some reason. I am using portable hdd which I have checked is mounted as /media/hdd Device /dev/sda1. Maybe the portable hdd is the issue. I tried both with no picon folder and also created the folder first and rebooted.
If there is a picon folder then it won't download them. Is the hdd initialised?

If the hdd is initialised and mounted without a picon folder it should download when the box reboots.

i have downloaded this image,put it on a usb unzipped it,put it in the h2h turned power off at the mains,turned back on and the box just reboots,it does not flash,what can i be doing wrong,

Yes, initialised. I have tried reboots with and without picon folder in media/hdd. I wonder if the fact it is an external drive and not internal is the issue. I can live without picons anyway if I have to

Grog, you are a legend!
Installed your 1.6 image today, easy as pie following your instructions.
Image looks fab, all I need is included, with no bloat. Excellent!

Thank you for the hard work.

Peace and love, believe!

I've got leccy co coming to do some work so powered my boxes off but will check later, I've not noticed the issue and no one has mentioned it to me.

I will keep an eye on the crashes and will let you know of i receive anymore and the exact action that resulted in the crash. All my updates are installed on the box.

Quick one Grog,
Just trying to adjust the font size of the bouquets header on the EPG ('HD Channels' to 'Kids' on image below).
Can't seem to find the option in settings. Or maybe it's in a XML or Style sheet someplace?

Great build. Just moved to this from bioheads image. This update fixes the audio description issue. Just a quick question how do I install picons?

the bouquet headings are part of the skin itself, I think the bouquet title is the only thing where the font size can't be changed via the menu system, you will need to look through the skin files to see if you can change it.

In the v-epg.xml line 49 may be what you are looking for
Code:
 <!-- bouquet name -->
                <widget source="Title" render="Label" position="61,270" size="490,30" font="Regular;22" foregroundColor="fg2" backgroundColor="bg-ml" valign="bottom" transparent="1" noWrap="1" zPosition="1" />

This is done at your own risk

If your usb is set up and mounted on /media/hdd then restart the box by holding the power button on remote until a menu appears and then select restart (not restart gui). As the box restarts it downloads the picons as long as there is no picon folder already on the usb stick

Excellent, thanks Grog, I'll take care, I'm a dab-hand with code.

Edit: It was actually Line 172.
Code:
 <widget name="guidebouquetlist" position="215,262" size="1065,38" font="Regular;20" foregroundColor="fg2" backgroundColor="infobarBlack" valign="center" halign="left" noWrap="1" transparent="1" zPosition="1" />

I think it looks a little neater now. I find a lot of the fonts on most skins are so big lol.

I found the same, a reboot populated the picons ok which I expected.

Great this worked.

Also when I press EPG it only shows Entertainment group. Previously I had the option to choose bouquet when pressing EPG how do I get this back.

You can use the <prev> and <next> button on the remote to scroll across the different bouquets along the top.

Aternatively, from tv picture press the epg button, now press the menu button and change 'Show bouquet on launch' to yes and press the green button to save.

Now exit back to TV picture and try the epg button, it should give a list of bouquets.

Excellent thanks for that. Also before I could browse through all bouquets even if I selected say Entertainment group. I could keep scrolling down and see all channels rather than it stopping at the last channel in the Entertainment group.

Is there a way to do this on this build?

Ohh have

Have I left that disabled? press the menu button and then select Setup -> Usage & Gui -> Channel Selection settings. and change 'Change bouquets in quickzap' to yes and then press the green button to save.

Perfect now saves time going back to bouquet selection. Thanks again
