Hi Whoosh, was flashing my second box and noticed it installs openvpn. I was wondering if there is a plugin/UI for this as I have an opinion profile I use for another device ID love to try with the box? (Need ability to activate and deactivate current have a limitation on device numbers)
 
It installs the VPN service but it isn't active until you set it up. You can remove the service by using the blue button -> Network -> Network services -> VPN -> Remove service.

WooshBuild Infinity now has the ability to setup Saorview TV for RoI users in the tuner setup screen. This has been added in keeping with FreeView for the UK.

Sorry don't want to remove it, want to use a different opvn profile. Now where it is I'll have a play!
 
@wooshman any ideas why when I run the osd position. When trying to line up the screen using left and right the osd graphic disappear and then crashes box. Using openatv 6.2 and WB thanks for help
 
Can you send your crash log please? If not it isn't a problem.

It is located in /home/root/logs and the most recent date is your last crash.

I have tried to add the log but it will not let me attach to here, do I need to change a file type please?
 
hi guys just flashed over to whoosbuild again after using another build for a while. just a few questions about plugins

the iptv app plugin for shows and films by samsam i think it is doesnt seem to be on it? i installed it through the downloadable plugins when i open it it doesnt allow me to install the additional binaries that it wants to install when i open it. i just get failed you you like to try again.

also im using it for sly and cable but want to install my iptv aswel, there doesnt seem to be any iptv plugins readily available apart from xtreamtv in the downloadable plugins. i would have thought something like this would be readily installed or maybe even e2m2ubouquet maker by suls, as we are given the option for iptv use only when we flash the image so jsut thought something would be available for us to install our iptv.

am i missing something?

What box are you using?

E2iPlayer (was IPTV Player) is installed as standard and should be listed on your plugins screen - This is why I ask what box you are using as I and others have flashed umpteen times and it is always there.

As for your IPTV you can't get much easier than installing the e2m3ubouquet maker from the extensions section as it is standard with openATV. I won't install it as part of the Infinity setup as not everyone needs or uses it.

What IPTV plugins do you want to see readily available? There is already e2m3ubouquet and extream Editor, the two biggest plugins today. Anything else is server specific and depends on how your provider tells you to install their stuff.

I and the others who have input into WooshBuild feel what needs to be installed as standard already is and what needs to be available in download plugins is.

But getting back to your E2iPlayer, let me know what box you are running and I will get it looked into.
 
Hi Im hoping someone can help me, I want to add an N line to infinity but i cant see a guide , before i used filezilla to ftp it to mgcamd but I cant see that option now, any help will be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
 
You line goes in the folder /usr/keys
but you can simply copy the file to a usb stick, put it in the box and use the USB Cam importer which is found in WB Config (Green button). This will attempt to add your line and do everything for you. All it leaves you to do is change it to a paid channel.
 
Should still be able to use filezilla, it goes into usr , keys, newcamd list, or you could put your line onto a usb and the use cam importer to install it. Looks like I posted at the same time as you whoosh.

I didn't get it when I flashed it yesterday, couldn't see it in extensions either, noticed when it was loading the plugins on the first run , it said it was loading it but wasn't there when it finished the set up..
it was on a zgemma 2hs
 
@wooshman hi mate, when I done my first install I come across a bit about not adding sky premium channels. I’ve had to re flash but must off missed it this time is there another way round getting rid off the premium ones?

Hi , you can go into epg settings and set it to miss empty channels, might help mate

menu > setup > service searching > autobouquetmaker > providers
Set FTA only to yes then run a scan
