Bandwidth Usage?

New here and just wanted to know what the bandwidth usage is with these 'gift' boxes?
Does it just connect to the server once per channel change or is it constantly sending and receiving?

Not sure how often they connect but i know they use very little bandwith mate.

will use prob about 25mb per day, depends on how long you watch it for, have read somewhere that 24 hours usage will only add up to approx 400mb a month. Also read that your box could request a key every 15 seconds or so, not sure how true that is, good way to test is unplug the internet and see how long it takes to go off lol

The boxes request data every 8 seconds.

Mine is in use almost 24/7 and I average 325-375Mb/mo.
