Biohead Biohead Image - OpenATV 6.1 with VSkin - Cable only

Hi biohead. Flashed your image but when im uninstalling the plug ins I dont want I then reboot box and it gets stuck in a boot loop. Any ideas? Tried it twice and its fine if i dont uninstall plugins?
 
Just relised hes pushed a new update.
I dont want the porn centre, epg update, picture player etc

No, for some reason it's the old dropbox link. But I'm not liking the sound you had to uninstall porn centre plugin - it shouldn't be there to start with so I need to sort that out pronto. Same with Picture Player - I keep it to the bare minimum.

If you uninstall EPG Update, you won't get the full EPG. There's been a few issues with the VM EPG recently so you could end up with a lot of the guide missing.
 
yeah I thought that they shouldn't be there.For epg I just set vm preview channel as a start up channel also for standby, then just set a power timer to come on at 5am till 5.10am then set it to go back to stand by always has given me a full 6 days epg.
 
That's all EPG Refresh does so if you've set power timers that should do the trick... working on getting the dropbox links fixed. Porn Centre isn't present, looks like picture player comes with ATV as default.

Links are now sorted. Even had an incident where I had to use my own backup after causing a bootloop.

I've also decided to switch from VSkin to VSkin Bolt (trying to remove references to VM) - let me know your thoughts - both are available right now.

Hi all iv' done the image flash and works great but i can find the above, iv' managed for my sd card to recognised in EPG settings but cannot initialize to ext4 format

ok my bad got a better idea now ...it looks like it must have sd card to recognize Storage Devices

Double check timeshifts + recordings are configure to SD card........if recordings are set to SD card will that mean recordings will go on sd card as iv' got a 8gb sd card

256mb is fine - it shouldn't be being used anyway on a H2H, but it's always a good practice to have it there just in case.

Timeshift + Recordings need to be on SD card (or USB) rather than internal flash - if it's on internal flash you'll fill it up extremely quickly and it risks semi-bricking the box as it's out of space then.

hi.yeah iv' put the epg on sd card and the time shift/recordings to my 1tb hdd..is that ok ?

hello

just put this on 2x h2h boxs got everything running bar the hardrives i have formatted both to fat 32 but and followed instructions but just cant get them to work any ideas?
 
I am abt to crack up can some1 plz help me oot. Zgemma h2h only cable feed, downloaded the Vskin Bolt. the box flashes the image cums on the screen goes to 99 screen goes blank then nuffin?
 
@Gilesfoster: What bit doesn't work? If you press Menu>Info Panel>Infos>FreeSpace - what is listed?

@Davie Gee: Does the LCD display show the time? If it does that means the box has booted and it's got an internet connection, just press menu on the remote then you can set it up for your area. Until the tuner is configured for your area you won't get anything to view.

I am having issues with pausing live tv on this image, my timeshift just isnt setting up attal.
I have initialised my usb as usual and changed it within recordings but its not there within timeshift?
I have media hdd timeshift is what its set to i have no selection of cruzerblade.

Edit: when i try changing to anything within the timeshift i get a message.
The directory / media / hdd / is not a ext2, ext3, ext4 NFS or CIGS partition.

I got it eventually I had to put ip address in Google my box came up on my laptop n had to change the hdmi settings
 
excellent work once again in new update biohead.i much prefer the bolt skin over the vm vito skin.(y)
 
Many thanks! Quick question... when I click epg, it goes to 'choose bouquet' screen, and not the epg like I want it to? Any way of setting this? Tried but can't see it.

Yep this can be changed:
Menu>Setup>EPG>GraphicalEPG Settings>Show Bouquet on launch

Change that to NO and it will open the EPG up without asking what bouquet you want.

That option is only present under multi epg settings and is already set to no?
