Cable box working but having problems changing channel

hi finally got my box to show a channel but when i go to change channel it freezes on the channel I'm watching and thats it nothing else any help would be good

how is your box connected to the internet? direct cable or home plugs?

Is this from FTA to a premium channel? Your premium channels are working yeah?
