Bt sport hd gone down. My bt sport 2 channel is just black with no programme listing. Any idea if I can retune it or get it working

I don't know if you have heard but recently BT Sport HD channels have been hardware paired meaning no more BT Sport HD for us on sat.
Update the latest xml file for astra 28.2, you will find the file relevant for you in this thread http://www.techkings.org/general-satellite-discussion/96117-hd-channels.html

simply ftp it to the following location on your zgemma:

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/AutoBouquetsMaker/providers

replace the current one.

Delete the bouquets via AutoBouquetsMaker then start scan and should have BT Sport SD channels working.

I had heared but hadn't seen any solutions for the fix. I will take a look in the morning at the link. Much appreciated

w111yne, go to that link above then scroll to you see gmanpanthro post then download the relevant xml file (England) (UK) (Outside UK) etc.
once you downloaded that.
follow the instructions I provided above in Post 2 then that will work.

so you have downloaded the right xml file?
right so go on a laptop or pc.
download filezilla.

dont know how to find your zgemma ip?

then navigate to this location on the zgemma:

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/AutoBouquetsMaker/providers

then drag the downloaded xml file into that location.
overwrite the file when asked to.

i use autobouquets e2 on my setup. I'm guessing the methods differant

On my files in the link above you need to download 2 files. You need to **********.txt and then the custom_swap.txt depending on which area of the uk you live in.

You need to overwrite them into the following directory

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions/autobouquets/

That worked a treat for me. Cheers gmanpanthro, much appreciated

after a bit of fiddling, i turned the numbering setting back to sd and retuned with channel swap off and wella! just put the files onto the h2s and haven't really noticed any difference as i still have btsport hd listed, but i do indeed have the sd version now working

thanks for all the help
