E2Stream samsung developer app

Hi guys, has anyone installed and using the e2stream app on a Samsung smart TV from enigma2? I have just installed but having troubles connecting.. I can stream from timote but would be much easier with a app on the TV..
Even just confirmation that this is working for someone would be great.

where exactly have you found this. I just searched through my Samsung and cannot find this.

Its not a Samsung app its developed by someone else but if you log into your Samsung TV as a developer you can install the app off you network.. (PC or laptop) then theirs other programs to make you own apps and things like that.. I can post guide I used to install if your interested but I haven't got it working fully yet. I have just seen a older version running on YouTube.

Ok if you have any luck let me know.. I will keep trying.. It's just asking for streaming port and some other port but whatever ports I use it dosent find the box

mate, you are a superstar for finding this.

Ok after a bit of googling I got it running first time no problems.

download e2stream from here

Code:
[URL]http://www.pembo.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/download-monitor/download.php?id=26[/URL]

run the e2stream-installer.jar

logout of smart tv if already logged in.

relogin as developer. On my tv its just

user: develop
password: 000000

Start smarthub

goto featured

goto Samsung apps

3. Long press on the Twitter app
4. Select ‘IP Setting’
5. Enter the IP address provided by the installer, OK
6. Long press on the Twitter app again
7. Select ‘Start User App Sync’
8. Click OK
The download completes in the installer.

now e2stream should appear in your smart hub apps.

open it up.

enter zgemmas ip address
stream port 8001
trasncode port 8002
zap (yes) - I couldn't get scrambled channels working otherwise. might just be my setup
transcode - no
filter - no
bouquet - all channels.

ok button starts and stops streams.

WHO NEEDS AN ANDROID STICK :)

I have done everything in this post except zap and still not working.. I'll try with zap and see if it makes a difference but I don't think that's my issue..
Happy it's working for you gives me hope lol..

are you using the latest version 6.5

what model Samsung you got. it doesn't work with all models.

E2Stream currently works on E, F and H series SMART TVs, and currently is not compatible with D Series TVs due to the version of the streaming functionality in use not being available on this model TV.

the series letter is in the middle.

Yea mate I have the latest 6.5 installed.. Ok I'll check what model my TV is when im home as Im not sure right now.
I use APS like plex to stream and TV from itv and they run fine.. But I'll tset and check these things when I'm back

Ok I got mine working without zap being set to yes. This means 2 tvs can watch completely different channels now.

openwebif settings.

openwebinterface enabled - yes
show box nane in header - yes
use custome box name - no
http port - 00080
enable http authentication - no
enable https - no
smart renaming - no
parental control - no
add service name - yes

I am on openatv so in my customise settings.

menu...setup...usage & gui...customise

I have changed my tuners to

preferred tuner - auto
preferred tuner for recordings - auto
include ecm in http streams - yes
descramble http stream - yes

do a full reboot if changing tuner preferences.

Ok cheers for the info bud I'll check all of this tonight.. I do stream as it is to laptop and android phone. It's killing me. I'll be back in 2 hours with the results =D

Wheelo. I do not have superior knowledge in anything. I just know how to research something thoroughly via google. The answer to everything can be found on the net

That's right.. Google power! Lol I found this by just googling enigma2 to Samsung smart lol.
Still no luck with the treasure though.. I'll have to pull my TV off wall today to check model no.. I was going to attempt changing the streaming port on the box but if it streams to other devices I think the problem is with TV. I'll have to break it by accident and get upgrade from insurance lol

as a test have you got openwebif working on a laptop. As its using this plugin.

open openwebif on your lpatop
i.e type your ip address into your laptops address bar.

open a bouquet and select a channel.
click the tv icon on the right to start the stream.
This should open in VLC player if you have it installed.

Can you stream a different channel on your laptop than the one on your tv.

Ok so my TV is f series so it should be doable..

Yep I can stream one channel on open webif windows browser through vlc another channel on android timote and another off the actual box in living room so 3 different channels at the same time.

Yeah TV is on same network with full signal.. Tried 2.4 and 5ghz. And every device on my network has a saved static ip. I will try a wired connection and see if this makes a difference

did you manage to get this working in the end? Don't mean to run it in, but it works on all my Samsung tvs now.
