That i dont know.is hdd ext 3-ext4?
go back in and after initialization you should see convert ext 3 - ext 4 to see if its mounted to use correctly.
wrongly setup hdd can be fat32 that dont work with linux, box changes it to use ntfs.
No only one hdd its inside the duo2. Ive initialsed the drive..checking what it says in systemtry going into mounts to check what hdd says,if mounted correctly it will show as ext3 -ext4.
do you have 2 hdd as you said internal earlier and now external?
Yes confirmed. I have setup my old zgemma and it is recording n pausing no problem with my providers line.you were already informed in posts #27 and #29 that recording iptv is only possible if your provider says so - it needs two connections to the server.
Has your provider confirmed that this is possible?
As i understand it to record iptv your provider supplies a multi room line. My provider has done so,hence the ability to record on my old zgemma.silly questions but what are 2 connections or meaning 2 lines?

Great minds think alike..i am in the process if trying that this very minute...just not sure how to get the recirding and timeshift locations to move to the usb..ive initialised the usb but it wont alter location in the settings menu.to check if hdd is faulty add a good usb and setup that also as ext3-4 and change path of recording to usb as that will tell if hdd is corrupt,if you can record and watch with hdd on sat and/or cable its working correctly.
Reboot your receiver, then you will have the option of changingGreat minds think alike..i am in the process if trying that this very minute...just not sure how to get the recirding and timeshift locations to move to the usb..ive initialised the usb but it wont alter location in the settings menu.
