Hi all
Is there a guide i can study that can explain what the purpose of a vix image is.
What cccam is for.
What are plug-ins.
etc.
I've searched googe but can't seem to find anything easy enough for a newbie like me.

vix is like operating system on pc,windows xp,vista,windows7/8 all do different things.
cams are like a translator to use that language and open the package.
plugins are extras that can be added into box to make box better,eg autobouquet maker no more channel list madness.

Ok that's cleared up a few things, thankyou for taking the time to explain.
I was going to buy the vu duo tomorrow but one of my mates has just bought a technomate OE and rekons is really good.
What do you think?

i have 3 good boxes solo,solo2 and duo ,dont think i need to try more,only someone with a tm can answer how good they are.
