thanks for your help, i have noticed there are no values in the network secondary DNS, could this be part of the problem?These are my thoughts as above, I think it maybe your router so a simple try at a mates will confirm this

i was one of them on TT. Changing primary dns to 8 8 8 8 and secondary to 8 8 4 4 fixed it.What broadband provider are you with. You might need to change the dns settings I think others on talk talk/post office had similar problems
