To flash box:

​

Unrar file and copy the zgemma



folder to



a formatted usbdrive, place in




rear usb, switch



box on whilst



holding front power button, display



will change to "FLSH".




Box will flash in 3-10 minutes and




the display will change to "Boot".​

When the box has restarted switch




off and insert



HDD/USB drive you are going to use



for Epg



Recording etc. and restart.



If you need to Initialise the drive




press blue button select




Harddisk, Initialisation,select drive




and press red to start.




Swapfile setup




Press red,Plugins,SwapManager.




Green/Create set Swap Size to




256MB




press Red/ActivateYellow/Autostart.




Change region in Autobouquets,




then delete bouquets and start scan.




To add a cline ftp into "etc" and




upload your .cfg file.




Check in Softcams that CCcam2.3.0




is running if not press




Start/Restart and the indicator will




turn green.



To add an nline ftp into usr/keys edit




existing newcamd.list file



using notepad,insert your line



without the N



after CWS =. ftp into usr/keys​

go into Softcams and select




MGcamd 1.38



press green (start/restart).



Reboot.



That should be you good to go.:)

I tried to use this image a couple of times on a brand new zgemma s2 tonight and although it appeared to flash ok once it got 60% through the start up the "open ATV 5.0" splash screen vanished and my TV HDMI output changed to "mode not supported".

I then switched to a ViX image (which i've never used before) and that seems to work perfectly.

I'm not sure if i've done something wrong or it's a function of the box, my TV and/or this release not getting along.
Thought it worth giving the feedback.

Hi sorry to hear you had trouble with the download, I have tried the file a few times today and it appears to be working again. The only thing I can think is that for some reason it did not download properly for you and I apologise for the trouble it caused.
I will repost and attempt to upload the file to tech kings in the hope it will be more reliable,thank you for letting me know and I will work to rectify the problem as soon as possible.Thanks Bob.

I appreciate these things are offered in good faith and just wanted to pass on my findings.
I'm happy to give it another go at some point and see how it works out.
It could be a slightly incomplete / corrupt download or even my TV.

hi bob, dont know if anyone else has tried it yet but i couldnt get mgcamd to work just black screen, so i changed the mg_cfg file and restarted softcam and its worked now. cheers for the backup great image.

error in the mg_cfg
you need to set box type its set to autodetect but its not working
tested and set to 06 and all working.
