Cable Sid not found in pat

Set up an h1 box on VM today and all fine, takes it to my mates house and getting above error? Done all the usual things like rescanning etc but still no joy, what could be the problem?

Are you both on same network id his could be different

no, ive just found out his network id is different. would that throw out that error?

Yes you need to add his net id in tuner configuration and autobouquets
I have in tuner setup
Configuration mode enabled
Network id your net id
Used scan type provider
Provider to scan virgin uk
Then scan

Then in autobouquets

Change virgin uk to your id
