Are you using wooshbuild or another backup? Skyq puts them in usr/script but if using a backup they may have it in a plugin to run on boot

No backup mate its openatv 6 .0 from there site
It's comes back to here etc/cron/crontabs/root/ after every reboot

It won't run the script if no script is in usr/script so I wouldn't worry about it but it's odd how it comes back. You could try talnet init 4 ftp to delete the crontimer then talnet init 3.

Init 4 puts enigma2 to sleep so you can remove it from the system safely then init 3 should wake up the system

I have been trying to solve exactly the same problem, using whooshbuild.
Deleted the cron timers in etc/cron/crontabs/root/ have also tried editing them to daily times instead of hourly. But if you alter them in anyway when you re-boot the original cron timers reappear.
