if box is not flashed i would return it as if the starview server is gone for good you will have a paper weight,swap for a kv which still works for the moment.

You`ll be able to download in about 10 mins. Not that it will do you any good as the firmware wont work as the server is down.

If your box is a starview then no, the servers have been down for a while now and untill there back it won't work :(

No Starview box is working on the cable CS, Ur friend might have the combo and is working on the sat side
