Okay sorry pal it's just getting feedback from other people ...ie delete ts panel etc

I was trying to help you one step at a time, then off on a different tangent, that's where it gets confusing, too much tinkering at once for these boxes confuses them.

P.S. I have had the newcamd.list from the op in my box and it works perfect, so no typo issue, it looks like a cam issue/conflict.

I think what people are doing is if they can't get line going they are trying it in Ts panel Softcams All this does is completely knock it out in main Softcams if you try to restart in Main Softcams it won't work afterwards

Hello guys yes thanks for your input much appreciated I've reflashed the box ......but no obetter off after deleting cams etc .....gmangt is helping me via email ...with a view of dropping it at his tomorrow if I cannot sort myself thanks guys I'll keep you posted cheers j

I'm sure GG will sort you out. Watch his pet haggis though if you go to his pad - they can give you a nasty bite!
 
What happen is people press blue button and install it on his new image it was already installed on earlier versions and when it is and started it causes conflict with the main Softcams Manager If you try it in Ts panel have a look in usr/ keys

Right guys just to let you know all sorted now basically went back to the beginning re - flashed sucumcees, s latest vix etc followed his guide then deleted CCCAM in soft cam installed files into var/keys restarted and boom away she went ... so would just like to thank everyone for there assistance in this matter ...especially gmangt4. ..who without I wouldn't, òf stood a chance ..cheers guys I can look forward to a great weekend of sport etc now

Newcamd takes advantage of cached ecm's too enable faster channel zapping and requesting less fresh ecms CCcam is an older cam, still very good but can sometimes cause the occasional freezing with N lines if a receiver supports MGcamd this is always the best option for an n line because it takes advantage of the cache benefits for a smoother better performance
While any amateur server builder can establish a CCCam server, a professional knowledge is required for a MGCamd system to be structured
 
hi all i just installed newcamd but saying 0 hosts and 0port what needs to be there i thought it was 12000 host and 2 port thank you
 
No there your line details so something like this

CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000
CWS = 192.168.1.1 21000 dummy dummy 10 02 13 04 15 06 17 08 01 10 11 12 13 14

CWS = WEBADDRESS PORT USERNAME PASSWORD 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 server 1

Haven't done it myself but this is a example line I've seen

CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300 CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000

CWS_MULTIPLE = 192.168.1.2 20000:20005 dummy dummy 10 02 13 04 15 06 17 08 01 10 11 12 13 14 lan server2

I wouldn't worry about the keep alive and incoming port
