Last night one of the news reporters suggested he could resign as Leader of the Party but not as Prime Minister. This morning he as resigned as Leader of the party. Number 10 say he will step down as Prime Minister when a new leader is elected, but will he?

Only the Queen can remove him as PM.
He's no longer conservative leader but he remains as PM.
Like I said earlier in this thread, he won't step down from office
