time shift problem

Hi there, time shift recording has developed a problem, freezing and glitching impossible to watch,watching a recording while recording same thing, was ok before, I have a 500gb hdd any suggestions please thanks.

I have never been able to get it working properly
was always glitchy when recording and playing at
the same time.

..working now, reboot everything and its ok, sorry for not getting back sooner, been locked out.

a similar problem occurs when using the 1080p option so use the 1080i instead, and there is no difference in picture quality.

Can you set the box to watch 1080p (normal viewing)
but record and playback on 1080i by default.

Or have you got to keep messing with settings ?
