Updating Open Vix

A mate of mine has asked me to update his OpenVix build. Is it as straight forward as backing up setting re-flashing and installing the settings or is there more manual work to do?

Any advice gratefully received.

Thanks for advice folks. Actually pretty simple. Updated off the update wizard about installed backed up settings. All worked a treat.

hi ive got a vusolose when i press the ok button now my listting is all over the place now not in order from last update ie sports all in order then movies etc ive gone in to setting tryed every think any idears

what do you mean listings bouquets?
a lot of boxes needed image and abm providers and epg updated to work.
