40988 are having frequency issues maybe other areas are changing as well. In October and November there was 4 areas with frequency changes it happens from time to time. Hopefully ABM can sort the correct frequency if you can still do a manual scan

im on 40987, nope wont let me do a manual scan either , comes up with same error ive seen it all before and yea i know it happens (still got all tv channels on my net based back up but boxes are always better;))

o and just for info it was your build it 1st happened on but tried 3 different ones and there all the same its just like waiting for the keys to roll :)
When you tried with manual scan is it on virgin media uk all systems? If it's the end it's the end we've had a good run. Just not keen on iptv.

I'm not really but I'm guessing the next type box is going to be Web based anyway natural evolution my 1St was a sky analogue come a long way since then that's my tuner config setting on auto and manual , and result of manual scan auto is same anyway. It's just a pity I can't drop a channel list in it like the skybox series coz I'm 100% sure I'd have my channels still only when I flashed it I lost them even with the tuner fail message I still had the channels if u get Wat I mean,

If 40988 or 40987 then update config files then re scan ABM. If this doesn't work probably best starting a new thread as this one is for upgrades to virgin boxes.
