What do you guys use the Micro SD for?

Hi guys i have the Zgemma H2S and just wondering what's the best use for the Micro SD card .
Is it to store the EPG or recordings etc

I originally planned on using it just for swap file and epg etc but cannot get it to initialise with VIX. Not been an issue for me though if I'm honest. USB has been enough for everything

Cheers forgot about the swap file.
I need to get a SD card so I'll try mine see if it initialises,
I did read its best to store the EPG on the SD card if you can as its not good for the usb as its stoping and starting the disc every 5 seconds

Sorry, should have mentioned I'm using a USB flash drive, not HDD.

I don't do a lot of recording, so 128gb flash drive is plenty of storage for me
