which tv for iptv ?

which smart tv supports iptv ? i thought i read somewhere that some smart tv's had removed their app . Thanks .

Sony Android tv is good! But to be honest you can buy 4k firestick for £50 cheap as chips

dont waste your time with tv and in built apps. as graham says just get a firestick.

loads of options then for apps you want to use.

Tv's are OK for iptv but can be a pain in arse and as mentioned you would be better getting a firestick fire TV box or the amazon cube mag box zgemma box (if like sly look)

Totally agree with baz above pain in the ass not very stable better of with a proper device.

Sony Android TV all the way, offers the most flexibility for apps. Yea OK they put crap internals in them but the specs are slowly creeping up each year and they perform well for most functions. TV manufacturers have a habit of ditching smart platforms in a few years when they move on to something else so Android is a safe bet.

BUT

whilst my Sony TV offers an easy solution I have to agree with others in this thread as I tend to only use it if I have to as dedicated devices perform better such as a Formuler box or Firestick
