Has anyone had the issue where now and again the screen no matter what channel will go blank for a second then back to normal?

No idea whats up

how is the connection for your sat cables? Sometimes if they are loose they will have a bad connection and can cause interruptions.

Removed sat cables and refitted however the problem still is occurring. Didn't happen a few days ago and haven't done anything I can think of to cause it.

Is it dooing it when you change channel or just when your veiwing, and is it a black screen?
