OK

Fomat a usb stick to fat32
Unrar the attached firmware 1.12 and transfer it to the root of the USB stick.
Place the usb stick in the Viark.

Now on your remote go to the Menu-Net & Games -USB

You see the 1.12 firmware there highlight it and press ok.
Wait for it to report firmware install is complete

i just wanted to say that the firmware Update for the viark receivers First comes to viark sat 4k and then to viark h265 satelite receivers then Android viark receivers.say to viark Team iks forever server Team for Telegramm chat
 
sky.de it only works on the server forever pro v1.40 for viark sat4k And other receiver boxes.

Completed all the above and recovered the box again.
I used the file attached and worked first time, Prior to the recovery I was creating folders and renaming the file, this didnt work, back to
Now, back to getting the motorized dish set up with this.

Morning All,

I've been fooling around with this box, 30 mins here and there in between the wife & kids shows.😢
I had to configure the antenna configuration for the motorized set up (which I did) ☕, then you have to manually scan east sat to load the channels for each (exhausting).:dizzy:
I seen on the forum the theres the below so downloaded to usb and uploaded to the channel list.
Latest Channel list All 55East to 34.5West for Viark Droi 4K + Viark Drs2 4k
However, It doesnt appear to have loaded from what I can see, I presumed it would load and be somewhat in order of sats on the arc, would I be correct with this assumption?
I gather this box is closed source, so telneting or connecting to the box through the network is not an option, I'm eager to learn more if someone wants to educate me further...👍

That list is for Android boxes. Which one is yours? If 4k Sat then it does not work for that.

Only way is to scan manually and create own favourite via remote. It is pain but only way.

There is some basic editor software too but don't bother as that is waste of time . Easier to do via remote.

Thanks mate, I appreciate your response.
That answered my query. I was hoping that there was a channel list similar to Catseye or similar that I could upload. Kinda frustrating after using E2 boxes since getting involved with this hobby.
