If your Viark is connected via wifi then please try and change the wifi channel in your router settings, too many networks on the same channel will cause wifi dropouts.
Easy to use WIFI Analizer from Microsoft Store will show networks around you and how many on each channel.

Anybody using their Viark with a motor?

I am going from a multi lnb setup to a motor.

In antenna configuration it seems like I need to select motor and diseqc 1.2 for every satellite?

Is that normal? Can I not set motor across the board?

Use my 4k with a motor and usuals no issues, there were issues with the Android version boxes but read these were cleared up with the later firmware updates.

Why do I get more channels on some obscure sats (7W for example) when using the Viark 4K, than when I scan using my VU Uno 4K box?

Also, has anyone used the recording functionality on the Viark? It's only USB 2.0 so was wondering if that could keep up with HD TV?

Hi guys hope someone can help,I am trying to buy SP1 for my viark sat 4k box from what i have been told is a genuine seller but I suppose they are been extra careful because they keep saying have you upgraded your server to forever 1.40 for SP1 and I said I have upgraded my box to version 1.14 for SP1 to receive sky de and sky uk and they keep telling me you will find the forever 1.40 information in net & games and then server config and keep pressing right on you're remote but that information is nowhere to be seen so all I can think of that information might be available on other type boxes but not viark boxes so again they have said they still can upgrade my box without this information but at my own risk meaning I suppose if it doesn't work i won't get my money back,any

Hi mate, if you look back through this thread, I’ve lost about 12hrs of my life communicating with a provider that was asking me for similar information.
What a nightmare, still no better off.🤷🏻‍♂️

The Viarks are missing some transponders on most the sats so it needs some frequencies manually entering. You can avoid that by using the blind scan feature but it takes a long time to complete.

You log into your router and find where the WIFI channel number is, change it to one that has the fewest networks on.

Not sure the same is available for Android but there will be something similar. You need to look for yourself.

As we know, Viark boxes can open Sky Germany, Sky UK and many newer special top channels coming soon. In order to do so, you needed recently released SP1 and SP2 codes because the default service of PT cannot open those special channels (can open many in all satellites, but not the most special ones)

1. However, Team PT has developed a system to convert the default PT service to SKY supported service, which means that you can have Sky and other top new channels with the default service in the box, so you do not need to buy extra codes
2. First of all, it is important to know that you only have 6 months to change from normal PT service to SKY special service. After the 6 months of the activation, you cannot do this change, you will have to buy new SP1 or SP2 code to have Sky and VIP channels
3. You can do the change in all new boxes after activation, but also in renewed boxes with older codes (those used before SP1 and SP2). It works for all models of Viark: SAT, SAT4K, DRS2, DROI, COMBO, DRS, LIL
   1. (If you renewed in the recent months or renew now, you will get Sp1/Sp1 so Sky channels already included, so you do not need to do anything)
4. This change can only be applied once, there is no going back so be sure you want these special top channels because the service time will decrease
5. in Sky VIP mode, there is a decrease of CS service time because that service is more expensive, so the expiration of the service will be different as compared to the default PT service.
   1. Viark Sat will become 12 months CS time and 12 months IPTV.
   2. Viark Sat4K will become 24 months CS time and 12 months IPTV
6. VIARK SAT AND VIARK SAT4K HAVE BECOME MORE FLEXIBLE IN THEIR USE SINCE CAN BE USED WITH NORMAL PT IN SOME MARKETS, ALSO FOR SKY AND OTHER VIP CHANNELS IN OTHER MARKETS, AND ALSO FOR IPTV ONLY BECAUSE IPTV TIME IS 12 MONTHS , SO VIARK SAT HAS A GOOD PRICE FOR THE USERS WHO WANT ONLY IPTV

Now, I will describe the process to change to SKY VIP mode:


1. You need the “SN” and “verification number “of the box you want to do this change of service, you will find in this menu:





2. Paste the SN(12 digits) and verification number (4 digits) in this link in the marked red parts http://resetsky.ddns.net:3000/skyreset?sn=YOURSN&verification=YOURVERIFICATION.

(It is necessary to understand it is not a website, it is only a link that is edited with the SN and Verification number of your box to be copied in a Web browser to activate it in that way)

3. Copy the link with your SN and verification code in a Web Browser and press ENTER and the service will be changed automatically by doing that, you will have new Sky mode, the browser will indicate the new service time of CS and IPTV

(If you have already applied the change, the browser will show you ERROR message: Error,this SN has changed one time, cannot change it again)



Enjoy SKY channels and much more coming soon, plus longer IPTV service in Viark boxes.
