There is 2 great lists here by forum members here, if you go back through the posts. One is Multi sat, the other just 28.2.

Very helpful in sorting things out.

Yeh I tried that first of all, but it didn't work. So then I tried copying the 28.2E settings into the GIORGIO channel list, but that was even worse.

So in the end I had to create 28.2E from scratch, but used notepad++ to create 1500 or so blank channels to use as spacers (much easier than doing it 1 at a time in STB editor, once you know what your looking for and how to manipulate the file.

Still took wayyyyyy too long though, a decent channel list editor and it would have been done in under 30 mins.

Also curious what's the craic with the PG up and down buttons on the remote. I'd expect it to change channel, but instead it just brings up a key edit menu. I'm not sure why? 😭🤣🤣

Surely it should not be txt file? If so, right click and rename so it ends in sdx (I e delete the dot txt at end) Software should then recognise it as a channel list.

That will not work.

You need to open the channel list you saved, study the format, then edit it in the same format , shifting all the channel and transponder id's and various other parameters and then save it as .sdx

As I said at the time, it is VERY time-consuming, I think all in all I spent 4 days doing it.

But judging by what you are trying to do, just use the channel list I posted as that is the format I put the channels in.
