Sat IPTV Cable

I'd be a millionaire lol if I cracked vm
I will give you the benifit of the doubt. I honestly don't belive there would be a market. I honestly believe the powers that invent all these things don't see the point while iptv is around.

I don't know if there is a market for it now. Let's face it the viark boxes on Sat were not a huge success. And they had been going a good while before they were mentioned on here.
Disagree had mine since September-October last year and Sky was available a little before i got mine. £140 with 3 years sub got that back just with Sly UK from that time to two months back and it still is excellent across the arc. Not yet needed IPTV since i bought the Viark for my interests Football,MMA,Boxing,MotoGP,WSBK,BSB and F1 i bought a IPTV sub a month back in a panic over missing one game its ok but other than testing ive not used it.

Not a huge success you say for those that bought them with the intension of using them to there full potential they are a success and in a couple of years ill renew the sub at around £25.

I go back to the old Diamond Cable chipped Scientific Atlanta boxes on to some pretty dire boxes i had to update the keys on manually, tried on digital at one point, cs was pretty decent then some awful android boxes wihout subs, Iptv is simply the best, i don't think a lot of users realise the struggles to get to where we are now with it-i still think a lot of problems people are having with iptv is pure user error, back in the early days of computing we used to say, some people are just too stupid to own a computer and that's true even now!

I think most got them for UK Sats

No doubt your right but almost 12 months of sky if you bought at the right time was a steal. Folk need to investigate whats out there more often to get with the new hacks :smirk:

Anyone who did buy for 28e who would like to get rid of their DRS2 cheap let me know.

Can't you get the other EU Sat's anyway through traditional cs
Of course but the Forever types servers do offer more hacked providers and are often first on the scene when providers get hacked. Did anyone else have 28e for 10 months plus ?

Another example was Dsmart great for English coms on sport first out on Forever then eurolines followed but im yet to find a stable euro line for it. Its more of less 100% stable on forever.

My bein sports English and Arabic was ahead of dazn espana on Sat yesterday strange one but only 2 seconds

I think euro Sat's be it multi sat or motorised are generally for hobbyists.

It's great for how much you have access to from around the world in original HD quality.

May not be for everyone especially those who don't want to go through the hassle of setting it up so they go with IPTV due to ease of setting up and use.

IPTV is good because when you move houses you don't need to pay for an engineer to remove it and install it again

As CK has pointed out most people with sat are hobbyists and can set up the kit themselves but by the time you buy a box and kit you could be looking at £500 or more.

the biggest drawback with IPTV is internet speed required,
until the beginning of this year I could only get 15meg max, then openreach installed FTTP so I was able to get fibre with BT
(they have a monoploy on it for the first year or so before any other provider can use it)
and, tbh, I still use my multi-sat way more than IPTV

Since UK c/s ended I have to say personally I'm glad IPTV is not just around but thriving and improving.

Key is not just finding the right provider but making sure you have sufficient speeds and good setup on your end.

If you have all of that you will rarely have issues with IPTV tbh. As stated here quality is great on IPTV right now and show the major improvements to that platform over the last 5 years or so.

I think in all honesty 95% of people can get speeds fast enough for iptv unless you live in a rural area. Whether 95% of people are prepared to pay for faster speeds that is another question.
