Just bought the Zgemma 2S.....

Hi Sucmnsee

I have flash (using you 165 image) a zGemma 2s and its started as you described with the "FLSH" on the front screen, but its been sat on the 'boot' now for 30 Mins.

this was an Open ATV image as supplied, any suggestions ?

Quick tip when you have download the image If you open the first bit of the Folder then send the Zgemma folder to usb seems to work well
 
Hi All

I'm another newcomer with a newly purchased zgemma star 2s.

I'm also trying to sort my channels out. But not yet up to speed with the jargon. So please be patient.

My box has openatv installed (I think v4.2 and according to Panel Info date = 20141227051045)

As the box is in the conservatory I currently only have 1 sat feed (plugged into Tuner A) No idea if this is correct or not or if I need to have a card in the box slot.

I've run the tune and found 900+ channels. They are in a crazy order and no idea what channel no relates to what channel. They don't match to sly.

I'm currently able to watch free channels but not others.

I've purchased a gift and been provided with a CCCam.cfg file (I assume this is correct

I've downloaded the cfg file to my Mac (not pc) then using FileZilla transferred the file to my var/etc on my box (the IP address on my box)

Have I missed anything so far? Done anything wrong.

I've then ventured into softcam panel and I currently have Select Cam 1 with CCCam 2.0.11 selected

below shows as active can 1 : CCCam 2.0.11

am I active? Can I check

If the above is all correct. What else do I need to do to see my additional channels

Hi I've got an f5s box but I've got a mgcamd line with can I use the same line with this box??, and where is best place or seller to buy from, cheaply as got budget....thanks
 
Amazing......I've got myself connected. Seems like I was saving the file to the wrong folder. Found a post by mtpockets from 01.01.2015 that I missed or misunderstood at first time of reading what it was telling me. It pointed me in the right direction. Saved to Var/Keys NOT Var/etc.

Randomly selected a CCCam version (each worked). Why choose one version over another? Is it just preference like preference of Sat Box to use? Or Versions of MS Excel?

Now to try and get my epg working and get channels in some sort of usable order.

Yes, your line should work ok, but check with your provider if he allows twin tuner boxes to run off his line (unless you're planing to only connect 1 lnb cable).

Guys wish you lot the best (Get peed of with people saying only 1 line per server) good tip when looking for new servers 3 lines per server should be standard if not servers 90% over sub scribed

Yes. One in top and one in bottom right. The lnb directly below the other stays empty

Ok thanks and also I want to get this box but bit scared I'll mess it up...Do I also need to keep my Ethernet cable in the box at all times or is it just for setup, I really want this box but very wary of messing things up
 
Yes mate ethernet needs to be connected for the Scrambled channels You wont mess up if you follow the help on the site We are here to help you
 
Don't worry mate tich is a great guy I was same as you but with tich help I got mine setup in 30mins

New to zgemma

Hi just received my zgemma , i bought it all set up with my Nline installed (im a complete novice) is there anything i should/could add to improve it (tsmedia/ts panel etc..) , there is RuYa iptv installed but it will cost just short of £10 a month off supplier

Thanks I've ordered one now should get it Mon or Tues, I'll be back once I receive it, also what do u mean its needed for the scrambled channels do it auto update if and when a channel gets scrambled?? Thanks
