SkyQ Skin

I'll try
I use ftp
add the scripts to usr/scripts (make scripts if its not there)
Vix is odd so I make a folder called 'script' too and do the same.
Right click on the two files whilst in ftp and scroll to file permissions
tick the 3 boxes on the top row and the 3 down the sides leaving the two in the second and 3rd row unticked the box at the bottom should read 755
do this for both script and scripts folders.
go back into you box press the blue button from main screen and select vix/script runner
select and run chabscript first then unselect and do the same for the picks, you should have a black screen and no errors
then go back to your box
menu/timers/crontimers
add (green)
daily/execute the time you wish/command type to predefined/ command to run chabsscrape.sh
then save
same again except hourly instead of daily for skyqpicks and save

that should be it! as long as I have not missed anything

is V2.000 compatible with the Dreamplex.rar in post 1369? or are the two things completely separate with no dependencies?

Having problems with picons in preview folder. Some are working but most are SkyQ picon? any help?

if you are using iptv then they wont match up due to the names / service refs being different.

havent played around with them yet, but maybe someone can help with how to source / match / create preview picons

i found that the new skin works better than the old with the dreamplex skin

i had some blurring issues, that are no longer there with the new skyq skin

confirmed compatible this end.

Hi can yu have a look at the screen shots does this look correct to you I added it and right clicked giving me reading off 744 only thing i could find was blue button vix scrip runner on the box

managed to get it working it has changed the imagine on the menu screen section put not on the tv guide section

You got complete 12 rows on the bouquet selection screen...if its the screen over scan. Try use the tv remote control to change the screen aspect ratio. Use just scan or fit to screen...

For long channel and bouquet names best to use the default channel selection screen instead of toppicks.

This can be done through plugins in the ChabsSkin Plugin...




iv'e tried on 2 boxes 2 different tv's, sony bravia and an lg but made no difference

iv'e also tried default and topicks

its the 'show bouquets` screen causing the problem, am i over looking something or is there anything else i can edit in your script maybe to make it fit the screen

you mention 12 rows showing but i can not find anything in menu to change, all i have is an option to change rows in the actual channel screen

Looks right to me,the middle picture of the file permissions says 744 if you tick the two execute boxes it will change to 755, which is what you want.

For standard sly and IPTV If you ftp in to the SkyQ Picons folder and rename them to match the Channel names.

eg. skycinemaactionfhd.png

Sorted mate all Working only thing left to do is set up the screen it's cut the bottom and side off any idea how to fix it

yes certainly, considering there is only so much you can do with enigma2. on legit skyq you can scroll down the images, so showing only half the image gives the impression you can do the same on chabs skin.

Does anybody know how to get rid of the folder icons in the bouquets list? i'm running vix and using ABM to create the bouquets. could it be ABM adding these folder icons?

Looks like scripts don't work on Openatv image, Vix seems fine.

I managed to find the image files for these folders in the default skin folder. i deleted these files and it worked. got rid of the folder icon :)

or even better replace the icons in their locations with blank png files, that way it doesn't mess up the spacing of the skin

Yes ladies and gents...sorry been away today...United vs Chelsea...crap performance but gud result...

Any more issues with the skin so that I can sort the few thngs that have come up and upload a new ipk.

I need to to update the other skins as well after this...

not sure is it just me, or vix but i noticed when playing a recorded program, on the bar when fast forwarding/pause/play there is no icon. see attached photo... i was fast forwarding when i took the screen shot. or is this the way it's meant to be?

The icons should be there...it shows on ATV...i will chck Vix codes for that...

There is an option in plugins to change between the two

Which file did you delete having the same issue

Hi Chabs great skin again, installed it on OpenVix 5.1.019 all when well and looks good except when I call up the Bouquet Selection I get the following box not as per your example above. Any suggestions would be great.
